Beilun JIUFENG Mountain - 北仑九峰山旅游区

Beilun Jiufeng Mountain Tourism Zone known as 北仑九峰山旅游区 (Běilún Jiǔfēng Shān Lǚyóu Qū) is the ideal place for nature lovers and a great spot for family and friends wishing to hike and relax in a green environment. Jiufeng Mountain is rated as the first of “Top ten peaks of Distinguishing Feature in Ningbo”. The Peak of Jiufeng reaches an altitude of 497.4m (1630 feet). The whole area is so large that it would need several days for anyone to visit every part of it.

With 26 peaks, 2 big lakes (Yanju lake and Ruiyan lake) and hundreds of acres of forest, Jiufeng Mountain Tourism Zone starts from entrance no1 (Wǎng’ào – 网岙) on Taihe South road in Beilun (Daqi) until the other entrance/exit (Ruìyán – 瑞岩) located in Chaiqiao, 10 kilometers drive from entrance no1.
To enter by gate no1 in Beilun and exit by gate no2 in Chaiqiao going through the whole scenic area is possible in 1 day but only for visitors with a good health conditions who are used to hike up and down hills/mountains.

Ningbo Jiufeng Mountain scenic area offers hiking trails for all type of visitors. From gate no1 (Wǎng’ào), anyone (including small kids) can walk until the “Khanun Beach” because paths are always flat. But the further we go inside the scenic area towards the peak of Jiufeng Montain, the steeper become the trails. There are ponds, waterfalls, stairs to climb and small suspended wooden bridges to cross making the the hike very enjoyable.

Ningbo Jiufeng Mountain Tourism Zone is located southeast corner of Beilun urban area, about 45 minutes drive from Ningbo city center.
