Ningbo Airport opened in 1990 and has flights to all major cities in China and also external services to Hong Kong, Seoul, and Macau. The airport is a modern construction with a new passenger terminal (opened in 2002) including 16 departure gates and 7 jetways.
Destinations : Although the Airport in Ningbo has a few international flights (Seoul, Macau, Hong-Kong), it mainly is running domestic flights. These flights cover the major cities of China. If you want a flight from Shanghai to Ningbo, it will take less than 30 minutes but one should take in account the time spent between the airports and the 2 cities center (about 20 minutes to reach Ningbo city center). Be aware that Shanghai has 2 airports : Shanghai Pudong Airport mainly for international flights and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport mainly for domestic flights. There is a distance of about 50kms and 50 minutes drive between the 2 airports.
