宁波大剧院:摩洛哥少年合唱团演出
The Little Singers of Monaco, better known as 'Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco' enchanted the audience as they performed for the first time in Ningbo Grand Theater. Founded in 1885 by the Monacan royal family, the choir gained its current name in 1973. The 35-member choir performed classical pieces but also a lot of famous french folk songs like "Aux champs Elysées, Les feuilles mortes, Un homme et une Femme, Sous le ciel de Paris, l'hymne à l'amour".
HelloNingbo interviewed Mrs. Philippe Debat whose son Pierre Debat is the music Director since 1999 and was playing the piano while leading the choir. They just performed in Shanghai the day before. Known especially for their repertoire of works written for children, the Little Singers of Monaco have visited over 25 nations around the world. Because of the generous support of the Monégasque government, the choir is able to donate its talents to concerts organized on behalf of humanitarian associations worldwide.
