2006-04-23: Robert Wells in Ningbo-Beilun Gymnasium
Robert Wells, described as the incredible Swedish rock phenomenon, was in concert in Ningbo-Beilun Gymnasium on April 2006. Robert Wells came with his band and performed an almost 2 hours show. Robert Wells is is a pianist, singer, composer from Sweden and he has been touring around the world for more than 12 years. He is not only famous as a piano-player but also as a singer and composer. He has sold out venues throughout Asia (including China and Japan) and is the only non-Chinese performer nominated to sing the official song for the upcoming Olympics in Beijing. The style of Robert Wells is quite inspired from the famous Liberace who used to perform in Las Vegas for years mixing rhapsody and rock and roll with classical masterpieces. During the concert special guests Song Zu Ying (famous chinese female singer) and TV artist Liu Han sang several songs. The Beilun gymnasium was crowded with an enthusiastic audience. Everybody had a great moment !
