Ningbo NICEDREAM RESORT - 宁波钱湖悦庄酒店

Ningbo Nicedream Resort known as 宁波钱湖悦庄酒店 (Níngbō Qiánhú Yuèzhuāng Jiǔdiàn) is a four-star resort hotel located on the banks of Dongqian Lake about 25 minutes southeast drive from Ningbo city center.
Conveniently situated next to the Dongqian Lake Tourist Information Center, Nicedream Resort offers 180 rooms on four storeys, some of them with a view on the lake.
For dining, the resort features a Western restaurant (Sevilla Coffee House – 1st floor) which is also the place for breakfast and a Chinese restaurant (Yihu Hall) with a large dining room on the first floor and also many private elegant dining rooms on the second floor. Yihu Hall offers famous Ningbo local dishes.
For meetings, Nicedream Resort has several meeting rooms including a ballroom, pillar-less space suitable for conferences, that can also accommodate about 120 people for banquets.
Concerning facilities, the hotel offers a heated indoor pool, a fitness-gym room, a tennis court, a SPA and foot massage center, a barber shop, a KTV and a business center.
Less than 2 minutes walk from the hotel, tourists can enjoy a boat tour on the lake. Visitors can choose between the thrill of a speedboat ride or just relax in a traditional wooden boat rowed by someone. Surroundings also include XiaoPutuo and Taogong Island scenic spots as well as Mt. Fuquan, famous for its tea plantations. Once on top of the mountain, visitors can also enjoy a stunning bird view of the whole Dongqian lake area.

mini flag uk“When shall we see you again?” asked the front desk hostess just after I had paid my bill and was on my way to leave. “Probably soon” did I answer as I was exiting through the rotating door…It was a warm Monday afternoon around 1:30pm and I thought about the great weekend I had spent with my family visiting spots in Dongqian Lake and enjoying my stay in Nicedream Resort too.
The hotel was very easy to find as it is just next to the Tourism Center on Anshi road, the main road going along the lake and also next to the boats rental spot. There are boats for everyone like speedboats for guys who enjoy thrill rides, larger cruising boats for groups and also quiet and romantic traditional wooden boat rowed by someone.
My family and I did a wonderful 90 minutes ride with the wooden boat. We of course, took many pictures and enjoyed the amazing landscape seen from a unique angle and the serenity of the lake.
Talking about the view, I had booked a Lake-View room and was happily surprised to discover a very clean, large and beautifully decorated bright room. Some hotel designers fancy traditional dark wood furniture and floor which looks nice on a brochure but often make rooms very dark. Who wants to spend the weekend in a darkish museum type of room? Not me!
But NiceDream Resort on the contrary did a very nice mix of light colored wood with also light colored marble and floor making the whole room very pretty and pleasant to live in. Lake-view rooms also have a wide balcony just about 30-50 meters from the lake. During that weekend I spent quite a while outside watching the evening sunset and also enjoyed having a few sandwiches there for lunch the next day.
Concerning the room, we cannot skip mentionning the bathroom. Bright and well equipped with a separate walking shower cabin, a large bathtub with view on the lake, a mini LCD TV embedded in the wall and an entire set of amenities, bathrooms in NiceDream are more than just a place to wash!
There is also a separate dressing-room also called “walk-in wardrobe” which is very convenient as we could easily arrange all the stuff and clothes usually remaining here and there in the bedroom. Nice!
Nicedream resort is not just another hotel in Ningbo. It has its own soul and with Dongqian Lake city still developing many tourist spots, it will for sure keep on attracting visitors. We will be delighted to go back there soon and hope Nicedream resort’s Managing Team will maintain the great standard of their hotel for the years to come…
If you feel like having a break and plan to unwind during a weekend, Nicedream resort is for sure a great option. By the way with only 120rmb more than a standard room, taking a Lake-View room is a must. With its slightly larger size and its stunning view on the lake, your stay will be much more memorable.

mini flag china“您什么时候会再光临我们酒店？”我付完账单准备离开时，酒店的前台问我。“应该很快吧。”我边穿过旋转门边回答……在这个温暖的星期一下午，我回想着和家人在东钱湖上畅游的快乐和在钱湖悦庄酒店度过的这个难忘的周末。
酒店很容易找到，因为她就在东钱湖游客服务中心的隔壁。门前的安石路正是环湖的主要道路。酒店的地理位置得天独厚，挨着东钱湖的游船中心。在那儿，既可以租到适合寻求刺激的年轻人的快艇，也可以租到团队用的大游船，或是浪漫宁静的传统木制手摇船（当然有船夫，不必自己摇）。
我和我的家人在木舟上度过了愉快的一个半小时。当然我们拍了很多照片，充分享受从独特视角看到的令人赞叹的风景和湖上的无边 宁静。
说到景观，我订的是湖景房。结果又惊又喜地发现她是一间又宽敞又明亮又干净，装修美轮美奂的房间。有些酒店设计师青睐传统的深色木制家具和地板，从酒店宣传册来看当然很漂亮，但事实上往往让房间看上去很阴暗。谁愿意在一个像博物馆一样阴沉的房间里度过一个周末呢？至少我不愿意!
钱湖悦庄酒店的房间恰恰相反，浅色调的木家具，配以浅色的石材和地板，整个房间看上去通透明亮，让入住者感到愉悦。湖景房有一个宽大的观景阳台，距湖岸大概只有30到50米。在这个周末，我泡在阳台很长时间，看过日落，第二天还享用了一顿三明治午餐。
回到房间来，我不能错过介绍卫浴间。卫浴用品可说应有尽有，除了一个独立的步入式淋浴房，还有一个大尺寸的，可观湖景的落地浴缸，墙上还嵌了一台迷你液晶电视。钱湖悦庄酒店的客房卫浴间可不只是个洗澡的地方！
每间客房都有一个独立的衣帽间，或称做“步入式衣橱”，你可以很方便地整理全部的衣物，不用在房间里摊得到处都是。真好！
我们不该把钱湖悦庄酒店仅仅看成是又一家酒店。她有自己的灵魂。随着东钱湖旅游区的开发，她一定能持续地吸引观光客。我们希望钱湖悦庄酒店的管理团队在未来的日子里能继续保持酒店的高水准。从我个人来说，毫无疑问，我将再次光顾这家酒店。
读者如果想要偷得浮生半日闲，在周末放松一下身心，钱湖悦庄酒店不失为一个好去处。顺便说一句，仅仅与标准房120元的差价，我们强烈建议您订湖景房。不仅是房间要大一些，更重要是优美的湖景会为你的假期增添更多美好回忆。
