Beilun Italy Bar is a new place that is located in Beilun almost opposite to the famous Lebanner Hotel.

The place is handled by the dynamic Richi who is also an active member of the Beilun BBQ Association. Richi is from the States but his parents where natives from Italy and this is of course why he likes most the Italian food.

Beilun Italy Bar is nicely decorated and opens everyday from 17:00 to 24:00. The place is in fact offering more than drinks. You can also sit down and order a pizza, some lasagna, a plate of pasta or some salad. They also have some sandwiches for RMB40 and a long list of wines. The lovely cook called Vivian is doing her best to improve her recipes everyday. Once the meal is served, she often asks the customers’ feedback so that she gets even more ideas for the next times.

Concerning the prices, I had a Corona for RMB35 and some Spaghetti Carbonara for RMB45 which is quite reasonable.
During the warm season, Richi organizes some informal BBQ where foreigners can relax together (see last photo)

If you’re staying in Beilun and want to drop in a cozy and lively place, you should try Italy !

Hi Patrick,
this looks like a good place for an italian guy looking for a little corner of its mother-country! :)
I've never been in Beilun area, can you tell me what is down there?
Is it nice to visit?

Hello Chinonetta,

Welcome to Ningbo ! Unfortunately the Italy bar closed last year.
But there are quite a few pubs in Beilun like the "Red Lion", "Ocean Pub", "Hemingway" and others...
Beilun has mainly expats working in the area. Not so many things to visit yet but lots of new residences just finished to be built this year. So things go fast...
