Hi Jamiroquai !
It's just a warning from China Telecom saying your computer and your modem should be plugged off when the thunderstorm comes and also due to the very hot weather, try not to leave your computer on for too long time... It's true that Ningbo will soon enter the famous "Taifeng"(in Chinese means great wind) season, that was a bad moment we had to get through !Yeah I was a bit surprised too seeing this kind of announcement on Google ! ![]() |

Now it's several days I get advertising blocking the screen for about 5 seconds before reaching Google (or other websites)....
Is it already Christmas ? ![]() |

A new one but now you can clearly see the announcer : China Telecom
In fact these pages show up when you start a new session and whatever site you type, not only Google. Still if they start now to advertise in that way, they should lower our ADSL fee. ![]() In France we have the choice of operators and a few years ago, a private one tried something like "With us you can call for free !" In fact this operator put advertising messages during 45 seconds before you could effectively dial your number. Then local communication was free. If you talked more than 5 minutes, the communication would be interrupted again for 45 seconds of advertising, etc... Everybody was very excited at the beginning but rapidly it became very unpopular. It seems that this kind of offer never really worked in France but maybe in other countries (?) |

Actually it 's about their new online magazine.
But unfortunately I don't think they plan to lower the ADSL fee just by making us read their own AD. ![]() |

Here is a "last one for the road" or as Australians say "one more for the bitumen" or French "Un p'tit dernier pour la route"...
If it was not popping up when I don't really want it I would say that I almost like the design of this one... ![]() |
