2008-03-14 : Beilun Quiz Night - 3rd Edition with even more prizes !

Hey everyone!

Yup, we're doing it again.
Join us on Friday March 14 - 8pm sharp
for another edition of the Beilun Quiz Night !
(sponsored by Ocean Pub and HelloNingbo with Master Matt)



As always, there'll be lots of fun and challenging general knowledge trivia questions for everyone, as well as a ton of amazing prizes including:



2 bottles of Caledonian whisky (RMB180 x 2)
2 vouchers for a free dinner at Lake House restaurant (RMB200)
5 sets of 2 cups with the Beijing mascotts
4 sets of 5 keyholders also with the Olympics 2008 mascotts
3 clocks and lighters
(all graciously donated by the good folks here at HelloNingbo )

and,

Ocean, the bar manager, is giving everyone who comes out for the quiz-night a free wall hanging from her hometown.

Make sure to get there early because we're going to start the quiz at exactly 8pm.
There's no entrance fee or cover charge.
It's all free, you've just got to pay for your drinks.
The quiz will wrap up by 9:30, but the bar will keep going late into the night.

Is is far away from Ningbo ?

Hi there !
Ocean pub is in Beilun district next to the Ningbo-Beilun highway exit.
It takes less than 30 minutes if you drive there and if you don't you can just take a taxi.
The fare should be around 60rmb but you can also share seats and only pay 20 yuan if you take one of the taxis queuing opposite Carrefour Jiangdong.
There are quite a few buses going there too like : 550, 783, 788. They also pass by Carrefour Jiangdong and it'll cost you 3rmb

Yeah, it should be a fun night. Patrick and Kathleen here at HelloNingbo have really hooked us up -- you can see from the picture that we've got lots of awesome prizes to give away!

Also, everyone who plays will get a free hand-made Chinese tapestry from Ocean's hometown. Not a bad deal just for showing up and playing the game!

We've really made an effort to make this quiz fun for everyone, so don't worry if you aren't a trivia-junkie -- I guarantee that everyone who plays will do well.

We're going to start at exactly 8pm (so get there before then) and by 9:30pm we'll have our winner(s) and all the prizes will be given away.
