Hi there !
I have got a 7 hour stopover in Hong Kong next Sunday. I've looked on the net but have not had any real success. Do you know if there is a short tour that I can take from the airport ? I was thinking that I could take the train to Disneyland but it is probably not enough time to spend there. I dont get into Hong-Kong until about 4.30 in the afternoon and leave at 11.30 that night. Any suggestions ? |

Yes you could drop to Disneyland Honk-Kong as it is next to the Airport.
They have Express Shuttles going there. You need to change twice but as you see it's only 1 stop every time. Look at the train map attached : |

I've been there a while ago. Great fun !
Note that they close a bit early; 8pm during the week, 9pm during the week-end. In the States parks usually close around 11pm even during the week |

Just found a website talked about a spot in Hong Kong which is very famous for its night view : The Victoria Peak. The Chinese name for Victoria Peak is "Tai Ping Shan," which means Mountain of Great Peace. It is better known, however, as a mountain of wonderful views from its 1,805 foot vantage point. ![]() A view of Hong Kong Island with Kowloon in the distance taken from the tram. ![]() A Ming Lion overlooking Hong Kong from Victoria Peak More at http://www.anniebees.com/Asia/Asia10.htm |

To go to Tai Ping Shan, you can take bus A11 (40HKD)or E11(20HKD) or just take the subway directly from the airport. Taxi is around 300HKD. Then you arrive in Central Hong Kong Island, you are close to the aerial cable way station to the peak.
If you already been there, you can also choose to spend your time in Lan Kwai Fong at the same area- the famous leisure streets with lots of foreign bars and western restaurants. Here is the map See more in http://www.lankwaifong.com |
