Zorba’s Greek Restaurant known as 老外滩希腊餐厅 (Lǎo Wàitān Xīlà Cāntīng) is a Greek restaurant located in Lao Waitan (Jiangbei district) at the crossing of Renmin road and Yangshan road, next to KFC Fast Food restaurant and about 12 minutes walk from Tianyi Square.
Open in 2011, Zorba’s was the first Greek style restaurant established in Ningbo and is easily recognizable because of its dazzling blue and white facade (Greece’s national colors).
Zorba’s is a 3 storey building with on level 1 a large 60 seats dining room and a 15 seats outdoor seating area. On the level 2, several beautifully decorated private rooms (8-10 seats) can be booked for a more intimate meal between friends, family or colleagues. On the 3rd floor is a private bar area which can be hired for special events.
Menu includes Greek specialty food items such as Gyros, Moussaka, Greek salad as well as grilled steak, grilled chicken or fried fish and several deserts.

With its charming rustic white and blue decor and its colorful landscape oil paintings, Zorba’s Greek Restaurant brings the sunshine from the Mediterranean islands to Ningbo.On the first floor is the main dining room with 2/4/6-person tables all covered with cheerful white and blue checkered table cloths. These are the national colors of Greece, “blue” symbolizing the sea and “white” the foam of the waves hitting the shore.
On the second floor several beautifully decorated private rooms (Bāoxiāng) can welcome more intimate lunches or dinners with friends, family or colleagues.
Concerning food, the menu offers quite a few choices including “Traditional dishes” (chicken/pork gyros and chicken/pork kebabs), “Grilled meat dishes”, “Rib-eye steaks” but also “Fish dishes” (stuffed calamari, Santorini oven baked fish) as well as “Pasta and Rice Dishes” (vegetarian and seafood pasta, seafood rice paella). I went for the “Slow Cooked Lamb with Roast Potatoes and Salad” which was well-prepared and quite tasty.
Although we felt waiting staff could slightly improve their service, we had a nice chat with Laki, the Manager, who introduced us the place and was eager to know our feedback. As we had never met before and we had not introduced ourselves, it shows this Manager feels truly concerned about customers experience. This is a very good point!
Check out the place by yourself and enjoy good food with a ray of sunshine on your plate. Zorba’s Greek Restaurant is reasonably priced and definitely worth a visit ! (Editorial Team – 2012 June)

凭借其迷人的质朴的白色和蓝色的装饰和其丰富多彩的风景油画，Zorba的希腊餐厅带来的阳光从地中海岛屿宁波。在一楼的主餐厅2/4/6-person表。全部覆盖着欢快的白色和蓝色格仔台布。这是希腊，“蓝色”象征着大海和“白色”泡沫海浪打到岸边的民族色彩。上了二楼，几个装饰精美的包房（宝祥）可以与朋友，家人或同事的欢迎更亲密的午餐或晚餐。
关于粮食，菜单提供了相当多一些选择，包括“传统菜”（鸡/猪肉的陀螺仪鸡/猪肉，烤羊肉串），“烤肉菜”，“肋眼牛排”，但也“鱼”（酿鱿鱼，圣托里尼烤箱烤鱼）以及“面食及饭”（素食和海鲜面食，海鲜水稻的paella）。我去的“慢熟羊肉，烤土豆和沙拉”，这是精心准备的，相当美味。
